They could’ve ended this at Trouble and it still would’ve been a 4.5 for me but then those two closers just push it into masterpiece territory imo. I hope they end their shows with Infinite Josh -> Fewer Afraid. I wasn’t even paying attention re: their tour but this album makes me want to see them again

Harmless has some jaw dropping moments and flows well, but it's a little too sparse for me. Feels like they've really focused their sound with this one. I'm on Infinite Josh right now and holy shit

I think their just meant to sound like little social commentary interludes. They stick out but I have no problem with both Blanks.

yeah the blanks feel like nice little palate-cleansing interludes, and tbh the lyrics do so much work

I like the Blank tracks. I also dig the spoken word throwback at the start of fewer afraid. Really overall just digging the cumulative retrospective that this album offers of their discog

Both of the "Blanks" are actually some of my favorites on here, I've always liked this band a lot when their musical backdrops are mellow/minimal

Also, as good as the final two songs are, I don't think anyone can change my mind that the album's best 1-2 punch is actually Birds/Holy Office

Invading the World / Blank//Drone are my least favs by far.

Died in the Prison tho....

Ig I just don't enjoy their basic take on pop punk / rock or whatever but when they make it their own it's really great

Died In The Prison -> Rubbermaid is my 1 2 highlight. how bold of them to make Rubbermaid as grand as it is after the beast that is Died In The Prison.

also got Sophie on repeat right now. these guys only ever need a single bop per album and i'd say this is probably the catchiest of them all
