Saw these guys live the other night. They're pretty great live but honestly "Clean" is just a bad song. That main slow "riff" is soooooo fucking boring and shitty.
They played "The Void from Which No Sound Escapes" too which is definitely one of the more enjoyable tracks off of this album but honestly still a step down from most songs off of Owls.
I really gave this album a fair chance but it's just fading rapidly for me at this point.

I’ve also been giving this album a fair amount of attention and I can’t get excited about it. It’s ambitious but just not that good. They made some weird decisions on the order of the tracks as well.
