I just thought what you said was incredibly funny Kev, I am just fucking with you dude.

There's a fair bit of pop coming from Courtney's vocals and the whole autotune stuff.

Ya, that's part of what I mean. There are people who think every pop song sucks, but will love Holly Roller. So when they listen to this they wont think its a very good album.

there ya go, that makes more sense

not so much "music vocabulary" as it is an appreciation and enjoyment of other sub genres

Yeah Eternal Blue, Secret Garden and The Summit are all complete bangs.

Album is better than I thought it would be.

@kalkwiese actually it was trip hop influences, not hip hop. Jesus, a pleb who can only possess so many sub genres in their mind. Weak.

@kev jokes aside, I think you’re right in retiring that phrase. Also don’t feel so attacked when people come at you on here. Honestly, your first comment ironically came off as gatekeeping, and that’s why the sarcasm brigade came in. You can state your opinion, but there’s no need to squander others in the process. That’s it.

Hmmm, I think I liked Jinjer a little bit more than this, it might be the fact that Jinjer's singer is superior, in my humble opinion, or maybe the fact that this sounds overproduced and a little... shallow? I don't know. Anyways I need to spin it again to have a verdict, the band is not exactly my cup of tea, too pop-py for me, lol.

@valek: I agree with your general points, this overproduced and Tati does better vocals imo. But this is catchy and the Jinjer album not so much ... really deoends on ones preferences here

100% agree that I don't understand why they didn't include Blessed Be on this. Reminds me of when Deftones didn't include Lovers on their selftitled, which was supposed to be called Lovers

Yeah I agree with kalk that Spiritbox succeed where Jinjer does not by being really fucking catchy
