they are pretty forgettable tbh, but if you check any of those three I'd say check out To Drink From the Night Itself.

Just revisited this. I keep forgetting just how much amazing stuff there is on here. Feel like it could be a 4 for me.

Anders Bjorler is back in the band. On the one hand, awesome news. On the other hand, the two albums without him have been their best post-reunion releases imo.

Lindberg's vocals are shot beyond repair at this point I'm afraid. To Drink From... was the last stand of tolerable vocals by him, shame since that's my favorite ATG record to date and this one is unlistenable

I think this is a good album but I just never feel like coming back to it. Listened to it a bit when it dropped but that’s about it. Downgraded from a 4 to a 3.5.

New single from forthcoming album is out. It’s solid. Very ATG. Sounds like something off of at war with reality.

Which is my favorite album of theirs, the video was a neat tribute too

Newest single is alright. I agree it sounds like it could have been on AWWR. Looking forward to the full release. RIP Tomas

enjoying the melancholic vibes on the new one 'The Dissonant Void'
manly tears may be had when the album drops

this is a pretty interesting album, more so than what i initially expected. like half a prog metal album. some of it really works, garden of cyrus is like an opeth b-side. a sax solo! pretty sweet! the fall into time is all out prog and works well enough, a bit long but some cool moments. with touched by white hands of death, that's a good 3 track punch. cosmic pessimism is the most out there and kind of works. really weird song that caught me off guard. need to keep going back.
the more straightforward songs feel almost like an afterthought in comparison. but the opener is nice. think i like the previous one a touch more because it's a bit more aggressive with some punch that this lacks and sadly tompa's vocals are definitely not their prime here. although the production on here is much better. i guess they're about even, but at war with reality is definitely my favorite post-reunion album.

liked this a bit more after a few listens. and cosmic pessimism really grew on me. super unique song, really cool bouncy gothic groove and love how it explodes into screams towards the end. sounds like a rotting christ song.
