I'm a fan...well, am I? I'm like, half a fan haha. I enjoyed her early works, but she lost me after her BEST ALBUM SENNOU (fight me nerds), and this couldn't re-capture the magic enough for me to crawl back. That said, her voice can grate on you. Shiina Ringo has another one of those "to taste" voices, but Oomori can take that to another level with how obnoxious, and in your face she can choose to be. Definitely not for everyone.

and Dakyoushi is maybe her best obnoxious pop banger to date, threw me for one when it dropped as a single but hot damn that's an adore now

I’m surprised I liked this as much as I did, but the opener set a really really high bar. I wish more of the album indulged in that shoegazy sound
