After some more listens of Mind Burns Alive, I have concluded it is an amazing album. No need to compare it to any of the band's other material, it stands alone and it is MIGHTY. Such a gut punch lyrically. I'm not super soft with music or lyrics, but got some misty eyes in a few spots reading along while listening through. God I love this band. Can't wait to see them in a couple weeks.

Side note: I wouldn't be mad if Pallbearer re-recorded Forgotten Days. Since they only release an album like every 4 years, they could meet us in the middle at the 2 year mark and release a re-record of forgotten days. It could be a good album with the right production. Won't be their best, but could at least go from mediocre to good.
