Managed to snag a preorder of the first 3 stages on vinyl. It's going to be weird to listen to an album that has artificial vinyl crackle on vinyl.

Honestly dont see the appeal in this. Ik its supposed to be more of an experience than an actual enjoyable listen but its really just not a good time, and I cant pretend to enjoy this lol

A lot of the music here is rly good tbh, and the warped stuff on disc 4 and 5 is wild and fun to parse the samples. But I def get why someone wouldn't dig this style and this is very circumstantial listening for sure

yeah same, this is a rly involved and intense experience, kind of hard to have on in the background

I don't think so. I'd have this on while I played games, or read comics. The first 3 stages are pretty easy to get through. The later stages it gets a bit harder when it becomes more dark ambient.
