I might be the only one who thinks Keep You is Pianos best record.

Also, what the fuck at thinking Water Damage is a terrible Touche track.

Fuck, the title track really gets me.

Jeremy's voice breaking when he says "vulnerable" is too perfect.

feeling a 3.5

Come Heroine and Limelight are looking like top 10 Touche songs though

i really like the first half of this

2nd is mostly good, albeit less memorable across the board

Yeah Limelight is one of their best songs for sure. Kinda wish they would’ve saved it for the record instead of making it the lead single but w/e

You definitely aren't the only one who thinks that. Lack Long After, as fantastic of an album it is, is emotionally exhausting. Keep You is much catchier and less depressing. I wish they wrote more songs like Hiding and Houses We Die In...

I've lost more family members

Not to cancer but the G.O.P.

What's the difference I'm not for certain

They all end up dead to me

imagine telling your parents they are dead to you because they vote republican and then bragging about it on an emo album, that just screams developmentally challenged

Nicely written review. This was a really easy listen, may try to focus on the lyrics a bit more next go.

I first assumed that maybe he meant that someone in his family might have died because of the GOP response to Covid, but then it clicked that no, this is just some edgelord emo shit
