This definitely rips, love the way they use blackened elements to spice things up. Production packs an almighty punch.

Really digging ‘Cudgel‘ in particular. I notice how this is another ‘Buck Spin‘ jobby, should’ve known from that chunky-as-hell sound.

Their debut had alot more black metal elements than this record. I would say this is way more on the DM side. all in all, it rules hard.

Oh I wasn’t comparing it to the debut, my ‘spice things up’ was relative to other ‘inside the box’ DM, this has a nice blackened flavour and I enjoy how it’s incorporated. I haven’t actually heard the debut, but will likely check soon.
