"sine from above" is an instrumental highlight for sure, but elton's parts completely wreck that enjoyment

i also think that ariana is underutilised on "rain on me" as well, she could have offered so much more to that track

So I just meant I don't think I could add much of substance to what Simon already said. Our views on this (and its relation to her past work) are nearly identical.

joanne was weird in how it couldn't stick to what it advertised. i like this one a lot more for just how consistent the vibe is. concept aside, she's basically doing a glorified 90's house dj set - it's neat.

appreciate that gaga said fuck it no ballads on this one. its what we needed during this quarantine period and its her probably her best album top to bottom. cant wait to hear it in the clubs.
