Album Rating: 3.0

2.0's are albums that either don't interest me much, (They are ok in the moment, but outside of listening I will forget about them) or innovative/interesting albums that I don't like to listen as much or at all. Most 2.0s are the former. It's a "neutral" rating.

1.5s are albums that bore me. 1.0s are albums that really bore me.

"are some of your personal favorites rated low or no?"

I have no personal favourites rated low. Though there are some albums I have more of an emotional connection to than other albums with the same score (e.g Toes debut album, only a 3.0) This is because I listened to that album several times when I was younger and I listen to most albums once these days.

"his pie chart is 33% ~ExPeRiMeNtAl~",

Johnny's is 21%. experimental is an overused tag

"This is better than Sunbather but also less Important "

It's not about how influential the album may be. Though there is a correlation.

I'm listening to this now. "Uusi teknokratia" has a little bit of a krautrock influence.

Haha. Previous record set that expectation and surprises are good, therefore happiness is doubled by this mathematical equation.

this is pretty weird so far. definitely something to it, the blend of weird genre signals (vocals vs. syncopated string instrument vs. bassy dance rhythm). we shall see

wonder if the band had "music for 18 musicians" in mind on "uusi teknokratia"

I cant pretend to be able to read whats in this bands head but I'll admit the very specific-feeling references to other not-metal music shoehorned into this record make it seem a bit like someone's reading a History of Experimental Music textbook to you but its good
