If he’s theatric isn’t that right? Yes it’s totally dramatic but it’s kinda fun

This album is precisely a 2.5/5, and it is their only good full length. And I've said/poasted it a million times, but they have yet to make a song as good as Jaws.
If Sleep Token attempted to do anything even remotely dynamic again, I would probably enjoy. But releasing another version of "build up to the heavy part" is tiresome. Oh! But this time with "hip hop" or "a saxophone"! Yeesh, makes me want to gouge my eyes out with Hawks' fingernails (talons, perhaps).
Imagine if these guys even attempted to write a song shorter than 5 minutes. Or with a tempo higher (or lower) than 120 bpm for even a fraction of the song duration. Or if Vessel went back to dynamically singing/screaming for better effect. They --should-- be doing so much more than they are. Reeks of how Tesseract put out middling albums for 10 years, except unlike Tesseract, you can tell these guys are just mailing it in to make money and are up their own asses so far they can see their teeth. The talent is obviously here. It's just being wasted in what I will call a wankfest of the fakest imaginable depth and sentimentality. No level of BTBAM musically masturbating is as annoying as this band "croonstroking" itself. A ripping solo is still a ripping solo, even if it's 3 minutes too long.

This is underrated at this point. The next album is a bit of a snoozefest but this one hits more often than not. Gods is a bit out of place but it goes pretty hard

Dang, Tomb is probably my favorite. But I'm a sucker for ocean themed stuff lol.

This one is also a bit of a snoozefest to me. Controversially, I don't think they got good until Take Me Back To Eden, first two albums kinda suck.

Eden is definitely their strongest for me. Probably their lowest lows but they are few, and definitely their highest highs.
1. Eden (4)
2. Sundowning (3.5)
3. Arcadia (3.5)
4. Tomb (3)

For me it's currently:
1 Tomb (4.5)
2 Arcadia (4.5)
3 Sundowning (3.5)
4 Eden (3.5)
I like Eden, some great songs, but I don't quite understand why so many people think it's their best compared to the others. Or at least, why it's better than Arcadia, which seems very common.

Their most inconsistent album by far. Has some of their highest highs, but also lowest lows.

Yeah I think I'd agree with that.

Finally giving their stuff a proper listen through. Shit before I even read this review all I could think of during Levitate was "damn this is just CCM for people who arent religious and think theyre super deep". I still like a lot on here, when it hits its real good and I enjoy the attempted artistry. Sucks I already know in a few albums it goes to shit.
