yeah agreed, i touched on that briefly in the review, sometimes the tension just dissipates or implodes, or sometimes it changes directions entirely just when you think it can't possibly do anything other than erupt, it makes the album uniquely unpredictable and all the anti/reverse climaxing and false starts keep you on the edge of your seat enough to make the true payoffs just that much more remarkable and satisfying. album really pushes the limits of delayed gratification in the best way possible

Yeah I enjoyed a lot, it's gorgeous and intoxicating in places. Only other Lapalax I've heard in full was Nostalchic, which I remember being solid. I'll have to listen to it again along with Lustmore and Ruinism.

Pots, I know you said Ruinism hits you with a lot of nostalgia but do you seeing this taking top spot at all? I truly think this is the best thing he's done. At the very least I think it's his most realized project yet. Like his technical abilities have finally caught up with his imagination
