Yo Hawks now I can more consistently see Cradle bumps

i'm just going to come out and say that the production on the original version is vastly superior to the production here

I think I dig it more too tbh

it's not that it's bad here at all, i just genuinely think it gave this album such a unique and twisted sound. even if the band hated it, i think it suited it better than what's going on here.

Strong disagree, but I understand the power of habit

Barker is a beast no matter what production cave you throw him in.

Anyone seen these live? Are they total bollocks?

I saw Cradle live at Bloodstock 2019 and they absolutely fucking slayed. Might have been partly due to the fact I was gurning my fucking tits off though. But still.... Dani's voice is fucking insane.

Saw them live in 2018 as well while just drinking and they were great then too. Soooo....

They're one of those bands that will likely continue touring for another 10 years or so. I believe you will be able to see them soon.

I got into this band because of how good they were live. Didn't take to his voice beforehand, but holy crap they're such a tight live unit that it sold me completely. Seen them three times now and all three were pretty incredible.

his voice is why i cant get into this band even still, bought all their cds and everything on a whim ugh

His voice rulez and the average for this makes me very happy. m/

remaster kinda sucks tbh. so lifeless and flat compared to the original. the only thing they fixed was the drums and they aren't even that bad on the old mix.
|
| |
Hard disagree, the original is borderline unlistenable compared to the remaster imo
|
| |
The original is totally amazing and nothing I've heard from the remaster made me feel that it was totally necessary. I like the dry, mummy sound of the original version. It fits Bathory's theme.

The older production really holds me back from enjoying their older work, so this was very welcome for me.
