>that album cover minus the dude gives me such nostalgia for some reason

Old attic + photo taken with flash is reminiscent of old family photos/memories, I think.

What an awesome comment man. I was thinking the same exact thing for some reason. Without Peggy chillin it looks like a Pianos Become the Teeth album art, lol.

people tend to avoid flash photography these days unless explicitly trying to nostalgia bomb for the most part

i loved the first half while the 2nd kinda slogged. i haven't enjoyed a rap album in at least 2 years so believe me, I'm not using the term "love" lightly.

amusing how fantano giving this only an 8 is controversial
i agree with his critiques of the sterile sound and how it trails off near the end

Kinda ridiculous how up in arms some people are about it lmao... it’s like the highest rating he’ll give to an album 95% of the time

getting up in arms about a fantano review in general is just so bizarre

Yeah he had a point, I think if Peggy trimmed the last half a bit, especially the disjointed 1-min tracks this album would have felt less top-heavy.

I'm so happy this album came out though, was losing my faith in 2019 a bit.

"Beta Male Strategies is the greatest song ever"

Man that beat is incredible. That vocal sample has been stuck in my head for days.

one time i sent fantano a facebook message telling him he reviews like he decides whether or not he likes shit before he even hears it and he messaged me back saying something along the lines of "yes just like how i decided i didn't like YOU before i even opened this message" and i was like LOL #rekt and ever since then i can't hate him quite the same way ever again
