I'll jam them in order. I still listen to the first fairly frequently. Don't know why I ignored the rest

-- This is definitely a step-up from (t)Urd and Winter Thrice, which I believe are the lowpoints of their career. --
Urd okay, but Winter Thrice is a great album imo
The Musicvideo to Voices is beautiful

Definitely. Lights grabbed me the first time I heard it, and it hasn't let go since.

There's some moments I enjoy on this, but after several attempts it's just not leaving much of the impression I was hoping it would after the community hype and hearing Up North, which I think is definitely the standout track on it. The vocals are great indeed but, there's just not a lot here that grabs my attention outside of that.

Still loving this. Favorite Borknagar since Olden. The weird thing is that a ton of the melodies and vocal hooks and whatnot are really sticking with me on this album, which wasn't the case with plenty of the previous records.

This one definitely has some of the best vocals hooks and melodies of their careers. There are other songs on other albums with some pretty cool parts, but overall it's this album.

I'll keep trying, maybe it someday will click. I do love Empiricism, but that could be the nostalgia talking.

I’m just glad when people find music they like based on something I reviewed.

Yeah, same here man. I remember seeing this featured at some point but I was too busy at the time to jam it. Going through September jams now and remembered about this. I thought it was gonna be some frosty black metal with shrieks and all but this is beautiful.
It's like Katatonia meets Enslaved or something, really good.
