Just bumping the best review I'll ever write to reiterate that Pneuma would be so fucking good if the guitar tone wasn't so fucking thin and clean
(and the lyrics were better)

Yeah, those heavy guitar parts could have stood to be beefed up a bit; in fact, the production is easily my least favorite aspect of FI overall. But:
"the good stuff is good!"
Agreed. Still a lot of good stuff going on here, especially Pneuma, Invincible, and 7empest

7empest doesn't do it for me at all, but yeah Invincible is great. The early sections' clean guitar scratches that vicarious itch real good

@Milo: Invincible is definitely my favorite on here, and the only song that could stack up to the best songs on their earlier albums imo. Extremely good buildup, and unlike a lot of the other tracks on the album, it stays completely engaging throughout
