the first time i heard this album i was floored. the fiftieth time i heard this album i was floored. i can't think of a single fault or a single song i skip.

I've been trying to get into it for a few months now and can't. I just don't like them.

understandable, it took me a long time to get into them, particularly the vocals. one vocalist rerminds me of jon davis so that was a rather large hurdle to surpass. but the music is just so perfectly played, perfect drinking album.

Yeah, you hit the nail on the head. I keep coming back to feeling like its a fancy version of the nu-metal formula. I think if it were mixed differently and had a different vocal dynamic I'd get into it.

i'd say it's more like dillinger escape plan or something like that than nu metal

Yeah it really is nothing like nu-metal at all. It has groove akin to Meshuggah in some songs, especially Bland Street Bloom.

They should re-record this with a better vocalist. Absolutely horrible.

Oh well. Cool music, but god... just such shitty vox.
