Like Sand is in my "feelsy" playlist, as is Wallflower and Drained. The production is a bit too plastic for me, but I can look past it.

This is a good pop metal album. There are some awful moments, but there are some enjoyable parts for sure. Lyrics aside, Anders' harsh vocals are pretty good, those bubblegum chorus cleans, not so much, but when your expectations are low it's nice to be a little impressed. Also that song with the eastern riffing is, interesting. Their new lead guitarist has some pretty great chops, much more technically proficient than anything Jesper and Bjorn ever did together, but half as memorable.

Broderick joined them only for the tour. He's not their new lead guitarist

Well I'll be! Bjorn's playing has certainly improved over the years then

Except for a song here and there, I've lost track since The Jester Race, it's interesting to see how the band's sound changed

Out of those options, this album's title track. Overall I'd say Wallflower.

Idk I expect it to look a bit more rounded, but then again that's the case with a lot of divisive albums. Amo, Die Lit, etc.

Wallflower's not as good as The Chosen Pessimist, but it's still a solid track.

i see you comparing them since both are 7 min? songs but wallflower has this huge intro that leads nowhere and then the song starts so in theory its a 5 min song with a 2 min useless intro..... its got nothing on pessimist
