Despite having 3 strong opening tracks, it has quite a few filler songs(Thanksgiving, Easy Enough), plus 2 (!) songs that had been previously released before.
Cardinal's opener and closers are amazing and I just think lyrically the record is better, Size of the Moon gets me tearing up every time.

yeah touche got me there but i just think overall it's a stronger piece of work, plus size of the moon is reworked to much better results on cardinal than it's previous version.
I think if they cut this down by a few songs it may be a 4.

Cardinal does edge this one out just a bit, but both are masterpieces and nearly perfect imo. Portal is like the defining song of my 2018 and will stay with me for sure.
