This is better than the last two for me. Stronger songs all around.

A Starless Darkness grew on me a lot. Definitely one of my favorite tracks here along with the opener.
Not sure about Deathless (that album has some of my favorite Revo tracks; The Blackest Reaches, Madness Opus, title track, The Fix), but I definitely dig this more than the previous record. Lots of fun here.

Weird you say that about Deathless and not mention what I think is the best track in Scorched Earth Policy

The whole of Deathless rules

This actually grew even more on me. Quite an accomplishment considering I'm not as huge into these guys as some other users seem here and in other threads.
A Starless Darkness is slowly turning into my favorite closing track on a Revocation album tbh.

Saw them for the 5th and definitely last time last night. You can see that touring is like breathing for these guys. Problem is they sometimes forget to act like it's fun or like it's difficult to nail some of the songs and leads live, so it gets boring to watch. Played Vanitas and Ex Nihilo like it's a walk in the park, the closers were Chaos of Forms t/t and Witch Trials both played at 1.5x speed.
Archspire played before them which was the absolute pinnacle of tech boredom tho.

Were Rivers of Nihil any good?

I missed RoN, caught Soreption's set tho, they were impressive tbh.
Jake from RoN did guest vocals on Revo's Madness Opus afterwards, which was fun.

It's good. Beyond impressive musicianship and occasional nice guitar licks. It is however hampered greatly by its inability to create a fully realized atmosphere imo.
