I remember someone recced me Kayo Dot years ago when I made a post-rock rec list but Artuma said they weren't what I was looking for... Since then I've become more amicable towards different types of post-metal though so perhaps they'd work better for me now...

Omar Rodriguez Lopez did a far better job at doing contemporary classical arrangements in Birth of a Ghost last year

first half of Anamnesis Park is probably my favorite section of the album.
