not to perform an awkward exegesis on my own work but i tend to listen to the album i'm reviewing during the write-up and i think it's cool that very often that subconsciously informs the structure, tone, voice and even language of the review, and that goes extra for albums as Bold as this. much like when you read a writer so much you see inflections of them in your own work, or even start thinking in a way that mimics that voice
