that's what i'm saying the day it's nice outside.

I enjoy feeling youthful but that doesn't mean I want to bust out my sesame street vhs tapes and start listening to Disturbed again

Album Rating: 4.5
lol that says a lot about how you grew up
|

I mean some things are ageless, like Mario and Pokemon and Count Chocula and DBZ, but shitty generic entry level music is usually something that gets outgrown over time.

thank goodness hopesfall isn't entry level music like disturbed we can all calm our tits now
|
| |
This is a pretty standard album tbh. I hear a lot of scene stuff like this all the time thanks to my roommate's awful taste in music

your roommate must be figuring out how to get you outside gotta give it to him : D

All I said was that I didn't find this all that exciting and I got shit immediately. Like I get the appeal for this, I just didn't find it enjoyable other than a few moments here and there

"you are a saaaaaaad fucking person"
Elaborate?

those things became ageless cuz we were around for them and absorbed them hard, doesn't mean we don't later learn what they actually are behind the appeal (dog fighting, crap chocolate cereal, cool yet outstretched fighting with lame plots, uhh can't say anything bad about Mario..). taste in art doesn't need to reflect your current perspectives or age. if you're ashamed about the old you then that speaks more, but nothing wrong with celebrating or revisiting the old soundtracks/playlists of when you were alive.
plus if you wanna talk scene music then fuckin...
4.5 superb
10 Years The Autumn Effect
|

The Autumn Effect is an alt rock album you dumbass lol
|
| |
Album Rating: 4.5
ah that's right scene music can only be strictly hardcore and not shitty radio rock or crap oversaturated death/black metal circles
|
| |
Album Rating: 4.5
there it goes let the hate flow through you
as much as i like the autumn effect, it has more in common with disturbed than hopesfall so
|
| |
Primarily: screamo, emo, post hardcore = scene. 10 Years is just generic alt rock. Pretty harmless

so at the drive-in is scene gotcha

Album Rating: 4.5
generic scene alt rock = 4.5
perceived generic scenecore music = 2
lets just admit you don't like hopesfall as a band and its has nothing to do with bullshit excuses

P.O.D. Greatest Hits: The Atlantic Years
4.5 Superb Gyromania | February 18th 15

At the drive in is post hardcore done right.
Not making excuses, this is just an embarrassing record. Trite lyrics, shit vocals for teenagers, boring homogeneous music. 10 Years is generic af but pretty inoffensive. My 4.5 is a joke, it's obviously like a 3 tops. I was actually going to 1.5 this at first but it does have a few good moments
