Album’s an incredibly dynamic, engaging listen of instrumentals. Totally surprised by this.

I kind of liked the vocals, but now I realize that they were holding these guys back. This incredible

supreme jelly i had that same probably with the EP songs. I played them like 30 times not knowing they'd be on this. You should try to cover Copper Wasp. That intro and some of the fills in that song are gnarly. There's some cool live videos of it. He does a lot of crossovers on the cymbals in the intro. Dude is awesome.

Never heard of these guys until I saw this review but man oh man, this is some good stuff. Listened to their discography yesterday after finishing this and the new album is hands down their best stuff so far.

Holy shit - I wasn't expect this level of excellence. Easily my favorite instrumental since The Shape of Colour

Ooh, speaking of that album, I dunno if anything off this beats Libra

Night Verses seems to play and write as an ensemble as opposed to Intervals which is obviously mostly a vehicle for Aaron Marshall's guitar heroics. Not saying that one approach is better, just that the focus is different and they can't really be compared even though they're instrumental.

That being said, I find the drumming on this to be much more interesting than most any other instrumental prog band out there.

this album owns bc of songs like lira. any of the other wanky instrumental guitar bands would throw in some dick cheese ass solo and kill the whole vibe. this band tells you you're gonna chill and you're gonna fuckin like it
