I love it when people need to pretend they know what the artist is thinking when they disparage it. Like it's totally legit to just say you don't like something for whatever reason, but saying shit like, "if she wasn't insistent on projecting some sort of "artistic enlightenment"" just comes across as ridiculously stupid. You're not even trying to tell us why you dislike it at that point. You're trying to convince yourself that the artist themselves is wrong for making it, and you're right by making those statements.
