Miracle literally is CHVRCHES best attempt at sounding like imagine dragons and somehow they out-bested them. Not a fucking compliment in the slightest

This is honestly growing on me tbh, aside from the run of Forever through Miracle. I quite enjoy all the other tracks.

I've yet to listen to the album but being that Get Out was the only single that was even remotely enjoyable for me is not a good sign at all.

same FearThyEvil. Get Out actually had me quite excited for the album, and then the singles just got progressively worse

Don't enjoy Get Out or My Enemy tbh, it's songs like Graffiti and Graves that keep this from being a bad album

Get Out and My Enemy are actually some of the better songs here, it's Forever and Miracle that really made me question what happened to this band. Here's to hoping they don't work with this producer again on the next one and we get a little bit of a return to roots

Holy shit, there are no great songs on here and the 3-5 worst songs they’ve recorded are. Do I even want another chvrches after this?

Are my ears broken, I mean I'm not even pop guy but I really don't think this is half bad. People are hiveminding on this a bit methinks.

it's classic sput to dogpile on a disappointing album as not just a disappointment but a disaster

round these parts albums are either the best thing ever or the worst thing ever, there's no room for average

i can tell this is just like the last MIA album where I'm about the only person on sput who digs this

This dogpile is not an exaggeration. Not a single track from this will make it on to my chvrches listening rotation, which includes almost every other song they’ve previously recorded

I count exactly four weak tracks (My Enemy through Miracle), not counting the interlude toward the end. Everything else I think is pretty good to great. My bet is people are experiencing the problem confirmation bias here, expecting it to be bad and hence seeing only the bad and ignoring the good. Or maybe people just don’t vibe with the happier/more mainstream sound?

So what's like this but good? I admit I'm not well-versed in synth pop but I like the sound.
