at least Abrahadabra had Born Treacherous and Gateways. Here there isn't a single song I can stick to and say "whoa this is cool". If it wasn't for the vocals (subpar for Shagrath's standards btw), this is music even my grandma could listen to. Plus the drumming is BOOORING

This record is more focused in atmosphere than Abrahadabra was. That album is a blender of garbage tracks, this at least had some apparent direction it was aiming for with the spacey keys, cosmic theme, etc. and they pulled it off pretty okay.
