When I saw that album cover I didn't think 'Oh, Country artist' but I'm not familiar with this person. Maybe not typical country. Miranda Lambert and Martina McBride are pretty bad, though. And the bio says she(?) wrote for them. We'll see.

Yeah Doof, you should avoid this. Obviously you are more open to country than 95% of Sputnik users but I’ve decided that the appeal of this is more pop than it is country. I doubt it’d go down well for you.

Fantano and Mark Grondin from Spectrum Pulse are both using the line of critique that "people enjoying it don't really listen to country and are ignoring all the better country music that's out there". It's like neither of them understand the concept of a gateway album
