Yeah, this is among the most insane albums ever made. Nothing sounds like it.

43% Burnt will never not be one of the most intense songs ever as well. And 4th Grade Dropout is also impeccable. The final minute of that song is arguably this album at it's best.

People that dont like metal consider it basically noise, that is not true but have you ever asked yourself the pinnacle of noise? Worked it out yet? No? The Dillinger Escape Plan of course. The music is noise, it really is but not in a bad way. The technicality of the band is incredible and its up for nomination as one of the best grind or grindcore or mathcore albums ever. Its short, it comes in at 37:41 minutes and with only eleven tracks. If you like grind, this is the essential album and it is the perfect ploy for putting off the casual listener. Its really hard to get into though, you really have to listen hard to find what is so perfect about it. It took a few weeks for me to accept it as music. Im glad I finally got into it though as it is quite good and delivers when Im hyper or I need something really heavy.

This was insane for the time it was released. I remember a couple of friends who I used to play with being completely obsessed with this record and the frustration that came with it since they couldn't conceive how they could play like this.

Clip the Apex… Accept Instruction has one of the best riffs by the band. It is such an underrated track.

They’re just basically about him being a sociopath. Kinda makes it tough to listen to nowadays but the first 5 tracks in particular are undeniable

Weekend Sex Change is such a unique track from them and I love the atmospheric tone it sets.
