This is definitely as I suspected, quite bad. If this wasn't Machine Head it would probably be a 2. The only songs I can see myself coming back to in the future would be Catharsis, Hope Begets Hope, Behind A Mask (really like this for some reason) and possibly Beyond The Pale. The last three tracks are some of the worst Machine Head songs I've ever heard. Eulogy is a joke, Robb Flynn took the worst thing about this album (Bastards) and inserted its hook into the closing track, in a shite way I might add.

@General Beyond the Pale is beyond garbage. The fact they took the Love? riff and watered it down rubs me the wrong way. And that chorus is terrible. I mean really terrible. Robbs songwriting on this album is obnoxiously bad. The lyrics suffer the most but the more I listen to this album, I realize that even the high points of this thing really aint shit compared to their other works.
