i'm wondering how many of the vocal detractors just don't like Chuck's performance on here or just don't like him/Public Enemy in general
as a fan of PE I didn't find the vox to be too bad on the tracks I heard off this

Log, there's no saving this hot garbage. Only reason I have this at 1.5 is because of the rhythm section, otherwise it'd be an easy 1.0.
All the vocals on here are terrible.

Again Gonzo, that is genuinely true for RATM. Like for word. #wakeupsheeple

This thread is a fanboy bitch sesh. In comparison to RATM this is an empty shell making it an easy target. As a matter of fact I'd say it's three quarters of they way there... Anything less than a 2.5 is sour grapes IMHO. There is nothing wrong with this album except that it isn't 100% RATM. That being said I don't plan on ever listening to it again.

Idk seems to me that most of the Rage fans on this site are PE fans as well so I'd say the former
I'm a casual PE fan and I'd say his vocals kinda suck... and B-Reals voice has always sounded like shit to me

'2.5 is sour grapes'
If the RATM debut was their best and a solid 3.5 (ok a 4.5-5 for the fanboys) then sorry this is a 1. Same logic works comparing it to the best of Cypress Hill, Public Enemy or even RHCP (who this sounds like as much as RATM tbh).
So not sour grapes, this has some awful song writing, zero memorable riffs and some attention-grabby half baked sloganeering. It's legitimately butt awful.

Wow this album has such a high average rating

Oops I meant just on this album... I like him on the classic PE albums but the dude just sounds old here and imo his style doesn't translate well in 2017

who could have predicted that a supergroup of three horribly out of touch bands that all sound numbingly dated would make such a shitstorm of a record?
|

RATM ruins everything
or at least makes it a 2.5 or below
|

hate on PoR all you want but let's not get silly here!

Lifeless and boring.. Tom Morello's guitar has been hiding in a safe space for 20 years now; afraid to attempt anything new, different, or interesting.
|
| |
tbh it's not bothering me so much, some parts are actually cool.
I mean, this is one hell of a rythm section we are talking about.
Edit: Ok made it to "Take me higher", Jesus...

Turned it off after Strength in Numbers because I got bored.

So boring you needed to turn it off = 2 rating?
1 this bitch, don't let her do you like that man.

idk what to rate this. I can't dislike Brad and timmy's work no matter how hard I try. Its just...everything else.

"Legalize Me" is like a non-ironic version of that Lonely Island song "Incredible Thoughts".
