Anyway, every time I listen to this I discover something new I love about it. Just like Sound of Silver. The influences are clear, but I don't see how that'd ever deter from the quality. Modern classiic in my eyes.

this is probably my fave lcd record i've listened to. it has some really great, soaring highs 'oh baby', 'how do you sleep', 'american dream' while toning down their more annoying tracks (only 'emotional haircut' really grates on me on here). overall a pleasing listen even if it doesn't completely sell me on this band.

Not really. People around my circles still talk about it. I'm sure this will appear on plenty of end of the year lists as well. The majority of people here never really cared for LCD, so of course the hype is completely dead here.
