People are overinflating the rating. A lot of it is monotonous, most songs overstay their welcome, but it has some solid stuff too

Didn't like the previous 2 albums but this is a step in the right direction. Pretty love it . I don't think it keeps on the same level for all the 16 tracks but all in all I would say it is a nice surprise

I'm legit pretty surprised (as I for some reason always am when sput disagrees with me). This album is slow, yes, and it is not a departure. Since when did LDR have to shake things up to meet expectations? The songcraft here is as dynamic and unique as she's ever written. I was skeptical of the features, but aside from the A$AP tracks, they really bolster this. Tomorrow Never Came is 100% win, as is the Nicks and Weeknd features. Then the pure LDR tracks range from average to superb (basically the back half of the record), but there's nary an awful track.

don't think the rating is over or under inflated lol

saying so is basically just saying "but people don't agreee with meee" and that the avg should either increase to agree with you or decrease to agree with you. dumb.

she makes some people disproportionally agitated

It's weird how predictable the reactions are.

But I was positively surprised by the many reviews who notice this psychological effect, and went on to make clear this is actually a decent album.

I finally got the balls to look at the tracklist and over 70 minutes?? From the singles and some snippets the songs just sound like a more refined High by the Beach which is one of my least favorite Lana tracks

Oof a 70 minute Lana Del Ray album? Hell I'll still check- let not the wisdom of Sowing let me down.

I kind of like this so far. Her voice is pretty charming and her aesthetic is kind of rustic, like a 1960's farmers daughter. She's basically the only pop artist i've ever had a soft spot for lol.

I wonder how much it cost her to have her lips permanently fixed into a half-hearted blowjob formation.

It cost me just shy of £250 but I had to travel to Poland to get them done, hers is a much better job
