i appreciate that I could listen to the whole thing front to back but mostly I was in a daze grieving about chester. objectively speaking, I like that they decided to leave their old sound behind for the most part and go towards a more straightforward hard alt-rock sound with hahn creating awesome soundscapes. problem is, mr. hahn is my fav member of the group after chester so seeing him in the background hurts. it's not as catchy as the first two albums. mixing objective and subjective, I'd say this deserves a 3 or a 3.5 from me right now.

This album deserves a bit more credit for being different and still not so far below the standards set in their first two albums. Tracks 2-6, No More Sorrow, In Pieces and The Little Things Give You Away are great. Considering bumping this to 3.5. RIP man, still having issues processing this.
