Also happy hollow is so slept on it hurts. Nothing stands up to this though
|
| |
What's happy hollow sound like? Is it closer to this or organ
|
| |
Uhh not really either. It has a lot of brass on it. I guess Organ cuz its indie rock and not really emo. Still great though
|
| |
I'll check, you ever heard of kasher's band the good life? Album of the year has some tracks on par with classic cursive
|
| |
Yeah bro I've got their first 3 on cd. Novena is so damn good

You're also totally right about Happy Hollow, I don't understand why it's so underrrated. I mean, "The Sunks", "Hymns For The Heathen" and "At Conception" were such bangers on that album. Not to mention, it had good B-Sides from the "Dorothy At Forty" and "Big Bang" singles. But I will admit...I just could NOT get into "I Am Gemini". I tried and tried, but to no avail.

| |
Yeah I have the Dorothy at forty single for The Bitter End and the other one. That song has so many bangers its crazy. 2nd fav Cursive tbh. Flag & Family, Big Bang, Dreams, Dorothy at 40, the opener. So much goodness

Yoooooooo...those Ugly Organ b-sides tho. Holy shittttt

[2] hard bro.
In regards to I Am Gemini, I heard that album once a couple years ago and really really liked it but never returned to it lol.
As well, I hated Mama Im Swollen for a long time but after a while it grew really well on me. Also did you see that they remastered their first two albums and are rereleasing them on vinyl soon?

Yes I did, and "Storms Of Early Summer" is one my favorite albums by them. Hell, maybe even my favorite Cursive era, back when they still had Steve Pedersen. So, I'm definitely picking up copies of the two.
