The production is wonderful, need to listen to more Blake Mills projects.

He also produced the Laura Marling and Jesca Hoop albums released this year. Haven't heard the latter actually, I should give that a try.

Not really, dbizzles.. But it does have some moments that are just as amazing and unsettling in different ways..

That's cool. I basically shuffled his discog for a bit on Spotify last week and it was pretty hit or miss for me. Some of it I liked a lot and some of it kind of lost me. I'll probably check this out though. I'm sure I'll find something to enjoy.

If you enjoyed Queen there's definitely something you'll like here. He takes the same defiant & flamboyant postures, it's just rooted in a baroque sound rather than the gutter synths of the last record.

I can see that working. I like queen because it reminded me of like... Wild Beasts or something. Just artsy, kinda brash and synthy.

Alan is too beautiful. And yeah, I'd be more than satisfied with this as my year's pick.

Resist it boney. We need someone immune to this record in case an outbreak happens
