I'm actually rocking a warrior deck with joey right now and its just a full on attack deck but my ideal deck would be a fiend/spellcaster deck
but actually the same thing happened with my app man haha but now I have an new phone with a shit ton of storage

Fiend/spellcaster decks are really fun, and with Yugi's automatic Yami skill you can easily overpower people

The Yugioh metagame is such garbage now, I still have a competitive deck lying around somewhere though.

I mean standard is pretty meh yea, but Duel Links is a whole meta on its own

GX was underrated.

God, I was so into yu-gi-oh in middle-school. It was like the only thing I had in common with the kids on my block. I remember the last deck I ever played against my friends was that Dream Clown deck with Hayabusas and Gravity Binds. I spent a retarded amount of money getting holo Heavy Storms, Magic Mirror and Cylinder, but that deck was sick. Then I moved away and knew no one who played it so I quit. Tried out Duel Links for a couple days and damn what garbage... 2000 Lifepoints and mostly vanilla cards? Gtfo.

See I never got to play Yu-Gi-Oh with anyone until my later years of high school, when I was younger I basically just collected them for myself.

I moved away when I went to high school so all my middle-school friends were gone. But the set that came out then had a heavy focus on Synchronization (or whatever that mechanic was) and I got pretty bored of the game anyway. It's so annoying to me that all the older players are playing that stupid Duel Links game though. It's literally Forbidden Memories which was a hilariously terrible psx game that was eons behind the meta.

I don't think I've ever hopped on duel links, and I basically started fading out of Yugioh a bit once they introduced Synchro and XYZ and all that shit.

There's way better games of the same type available now which are free to play like Eternal, Elder Scrolls Legends, even Hearthstone.

First you disrespect Duel Links which has evolved significantly, and then you have the audacity to shit on Forbidden Memories lmaooooo
But yea Snide I agree GX was underrated
|
| |
I'm glad it's gotten better then I guess, I just wish it was decent when I was wasting my time on it. And Forbidden Memories was trash dude. Outdated cards, almost no effects, synergies, or strategies. The only thing that matters is who has the bigger dude on the board. It was just a lazy cash-grab.
One of the GBA games, GX maybe, was actually pretty good and played how it was supposed to.

Forbidden Memories wasn't supposed to play like the game, it was supposed to play like they imagined it in the Ancient times with the Pharaohs and shit. Fusing any card in the game to make an even better card had a great strategical quality to it, also how are the cards outdated when it came out in 1999? FOH with that, the card game was still very young and had basically the same cards lmao. And there are a ton of games that play like the actual game if you don't want derivations
