Just using the example of 'woah, crazy unsigned bands are out there ripping it apart' is a meh argument. Me jumping around the park whooping like a howler monkey while kicking a bin lid is as punk as anything but you won't see me holding it up as an argument against a band who are operating in the arena of the mainstream.
