Don't know if anything can ever unseat Pet Sounds for me (normie take) but it's getting up there for me as well. And yeah totally, feels like everyone was very tuned in and wanted to make the best record possible. Feels like a slightly more hi-fi continuation of Friends imo (which is also def in my top 5).

pet sounds would probably be my top if caroline no wasnt sped up and if mike didnt change the lyrics of hang onto your ego. otherwise that albums as perfect as it gets
friends sits just outside my top 5. other than sunflower and pet sounds id round my list out with surf's up (tracklist change would put this at number 1 tho tbh), holland and today

4th of july instead of take a load off your feet, live again instead of student demonstration time. been trying to find a new home for live again though and slotting big sur at track 5 since it flows really nicely out of disney girls and balances the tracklist a bit
