Some thoughts ott:
-y'all spent your money on shitty crack
-spent your money on shitty fucking crack
-G.L.O.S.S.'s entire lineup has gotten more pussy than you, before and after the splinter
-AFI doesn't suck anymore and Davey and Jade have been blowing each other for almost 20 years and they still get more pussy than you
-Nathan Gray sets boys on fire and gets more pussy than you
-David Bowie got more pussy than me
-All of you are repressed, pansexually frustrated tumblords (except for myself, SpotJohnny, and Titan)

"practically all of their lyrical content centers around trans issues"
Don't know where you got that from, first four songs are "rah rah rah fuck up people who fuck up other people" or "We survive and fuck you if you don't like it." Any hardcore punk band can do that, that's not exclusive to the trans community, even if that perspective can make it more potent.
Really that's why I considered the Demo EP better, at least it was unified in its theme.
Also it kind of defeats the point of your review, specifically the whole "dumbfounded anti-cis etc. etc." line, when really the music just kind of targets everything and everyone, like angry people tend to do.

The fact this review tries to say that trans people singing about trans related issues is a bad thing makes entirely no sense

"When listening to music, especially punk music, taking an artist's message with a grain of salt is very important"

neither does intentionally misreading everything the review says but here u are

It just seems like the review is taking the lyrics too literally
It's not like GLOSS is actually calling for trans people to attack cis people

well i mean, they did tell cis people to go to the back of their live shows lmao. also u can check sawblade's twitter.
the point is that it's annoying, not inherently wrong or bad

"Are people in this thread actually defending this review? It's transphobic as fuck"
Last time I had an IRL conversation with a person about this band, she called me transphobic because I didn't want to date someone with a penis. Like, I just don't find penises arousing, they're floppy, spaghetti-like, and vaginas just feel better. I have no idea what sort of mental gymnastics she went through to come to that conclusion about me.
