Also this album is pure evil, I remember watching the video for Thrashed when I was a kid and shitting my pants. Gillan kills it.

it is a tragedy this was recorded in a toilet. this rips hard. i actually really dig gillan's unhinged squaking. disturbing the priest, zero the hero and the t/t are all awesome with some sweet atmosphere and classic heavy iommi riffs. that creeping bass on priest is so good. trashed and hot line are fun rockers too. it can't be understated how bad this mix is, i can power through it because of the riffz and performances but man it's bad as it's rep. the material is all there. please tony remix this!

totally agree, there are some great songs and really killer riffage to be heard here, if you can hear it at all through the awful production. "disturbing the priest" has one of iommi's most heavy riffs

for real man. gillan brings such a different energy to the band, pretty cool to hear. love that each 3 so far has a distinct style. disturbing the priest is damn good. heavy ass album. really hope tony comes through on the remix, this deserves more.

The album art is a prime example of "don't judge a book by its cover". So many critics slammed the record entirely based on the cover, but the music itself isn't even that bad

I remember hearing Disturbing the Priest as a kid and thinking it's the coolest and most evil song out there. I still really like it, especially that part after the mid section, where they slowly return to the intro riff with Ian screaming over it
