I didn't dig Internet much at all when I listened yesterday, just seemed all over the place, with not enough bangers imo. The last couple of tracks also drag a lot

it's got everything tho man 3-4 bangers 2-3 pop jams 3-4 weird r&b shit 2-3 straight rap/pop tracks and a couple experimental ones. last two tracks are my least favs yea but the actual lyrics are by far the best on the album so it balances out

next time you listen to BTI read the screenplay that goes with it. really brings it all together imo and the disjointedness starts to really make sense

You're right. Just jammed Stand Tall. Beautiful. His singing's improved so much from So Fly. I like Because the Internet the most after I've read the screenplay, it does enhance the experience a bit.

Zombies is less immediate than anything so far but those are always the songs that end up becoming some of my favorites

This is the type of album that you hear in the background as your grandpa tells you that one story for the 30th time.

The problem I have with this album is summed up in Stand Tall. Stand Tall starts off beautifully and it is like that for about half of the song. It goes into a nice flute solo until it is butchered when Glover goes Yeezus on us with unnecessary autotune vocal effects and tasteless synths. The song had so much potential. In fact, most of the time during this album I am waiting for the songs to transition into something more, but they are either redundant or ruined with cringy experimentation.

California isn't as bad as people are saying, I think it stands out like a sore thumb in a bad way but it's also kinda cool

The chorus in Zombies is worse than California.
