Saw her live tonight in a very intimate venue, only about 20 people. Gorgeous and soothing, sounded just like her albums. Got a personalised signature on my QP vinyl : )

Yeah she did a second pop up show today (managed to sneak away from work) and then she’s off to Denmark -> London -> Paris

Shit, never gave her the attention she deserves but that London date is cheap and I think I can make it. Anyone down?

That was one of the most wholesomely engaging performances I've been lucky enough to witness. She is also one of the smallest humans I've ever seen.

Man, I'd kill to see her live. I haven't been able to stop playing her music all week.

I feel like she's the kind of artist you're either absolutely in the mood for or very much not - but that mood is such a strong one...

Picked up a copy of 0 (which she drew a bird on and signed with a crayon) and Utabiko so v excited to get digging

0 and Utabiko are incredible. Her live album (my dig) is an understated masterpiece. She's the kind of artist that steals your attention and refuses to let it go until she's finished.

Yeah, absolutely! Everyone was so still and focused on her that every time someone moved to sip their beer, the whole room noticed. Am travelling around a lot atm, which isn't a good environment to listen to her, but as soon as I have some crash time a lengthy binge will be on hand ;]

Yeah she’s tiny. Had the pleasure of seeing her twice in two days - once in a moodily lit hall, again completely acoustic on the floor of a record store (she was sitting cross-legged like the rest of us). Completely mesmerised both times.

Ichiko Aoba sighs into the microphone (ゆさぎ) and any tension left in my body dissipates, there's nothing else like it

How is everyone on this page getting stuff signed by her at gigs? Tips?

oh damn, the odds of getting signed Ichiko merch pre-Windswept Adan vs post are a sad story. girl blew up too hard! no more pub shows and hangouts :[

although fwiw the LP I picked up the last time I caught her was pre-signed, so kudos where it's due. will see how things go on the tour for her new one

This is the Ichi that eludes me somewhat. I need to try again
