Last four tracks might comprise one of my favorite closing stretches on any album. Still need to check more material by this band.

Interesting; personally, I think the last two tracks are among the weaker ones here. Still great though!
For more DBTs stuff I suggest you start with their classic trilogy (if it's not obvious from their average ratings, I'm referring to Southern Rock Opera, Decoration Day, and The Dirty South). The latter two have Jason Isbell on them as an additional singer, songwriter, and guitarist (he has a few songs on each). Given how much you enjoy this I'm certain you'll find plenty of stuff to love among those. I think they are are one of the best 3-album runs by any band I know.

The bone is possibly the only person who 'truly' gets it on this site other than Titan, Jeff, Dan, Kill and a couple of others. Doof does but he rocks about as much as me nan.

Aw, thanks zak. You can thank my dad for that, he's the one that really guided my listening in the early days, made sure I listened to the good stuff. You probably wouldn't get along with him but at the very least you'd respect his taste!
You dug into any other Truckers stuff yet?

I dipped into a couple of their others and bloody loved it but it all took a back seat to Mods,
chop, Isabell and wanky euro idm.

Ahah, fair enough, Mods, the Chop and Isbell are certainly worth your time...not so sure about the idm though ;-P

I'm tempted to put up a Doof top 100 rock songs - needs reclaiming from the denim jacket shite that supposedly rocks like The Who, AC/DC, etc ;D

Ok.

@Boney thanks man! I think I'll check The Dirty South next and work my way backwards through the trilogy, the prospect of Isbell working with the Truckers is a tantalizing one.

I'd probably suggest just going through those three in order but they're all amazing so you can't really go wrong. That one does have more Isbell songs though (4 out of 14 songs compared to only 2 out of 15 on Decoration Day and none on Opera [he didn't join the band until the tour for that album]) so viewing it from that perspective it might actually be a good choice.
