I still would have been into them as a pretty big Creed fan, and one day remains was solid and an easy transition, but yeah I probably would have stopped caring pretty quick.

Surprised how much fun this album is to be fair! It's not quite Blackbird or Fortress but this is a pretty solid outing overall.

New album feels like Alter Bridge doing Alter Bridge at this point. It's not terrible, but the hooks are sounding tired and the whole package is lacking personality. The title track is great though! Probably the best song since The Last Hero, or probably Fortress actually. Got a soft spot for Stay too, maybe because it goes for an entirely different vibe to the the rest of Prawns & Kings.

If you didn't like Fortress Johnny I don't think you should bother with any of their material.

I spent like 5 hours building a wildly over-engineered audio processing preset for a DSP plugin that I scarcely understand, all to try get beyond the shit production on this album. I was mildly successful and I can now hear much more of the mix. There is a genuinely great album buried under this absolute dogshit mix. This seriously needs some kind of remix/rerecording treatment.
