I like this more than their last 3 in fact, but they're all great really.

And Dan Swano really did a great job making the sound so good [2].

Wait, Dan Swano worked with them on this? That's so awesome since the whole inspiration beyond the album was Crimson by Edge of Sanity.

Yes Dano Swano worked with them, I think they said in an interview that they had the idea and Swano really liked it so.

I definitely hear some production similarities between this and Crimson II.

This is really winning me over on the whole complete package deal. Kind of like We Lost the Sea's Departure Songs (though not on that level).

The artwork, the physical book, the story behind the music. I'm a huge sucker for concept albums that come together this well.

I don't think I'll ever listen to this sadly, I don't really have the patience for one song albums unless they are awesome from beginning to end.

Ill give it a shot I guess, they never make albums that I find engaging from beginning to end, but I can skip tracks on those so it's fine. Not the case here.

It is a modern melodic death metal album. It's no Fleshgod Apocalypse, but it's not far from it.
