People are so instinctually against escorting in games they overblow most instances of it. Ashley in re4 is the good kind, Eileen is the middle of the road, any game where YOU follow someone is the worst.

This one was the most unsettling and conveyed the cabin fever atmosphere really well. Wish there were more games like it

The only instance where the backtracking comes across as lame was the water prison since the whole hole puzzle aspect isn’t utilized and kills what made it so cool the first time around.
Eileen isn’t terrrrrible, but the fact that she has to maintain great health the whole ride through where parts like the escalator or the wheelchair room exist turns it into a huge pain in the ass.

I'm prolly gonna buy The Medium on PS5.
I have it on pc but I could only play it on low graphics cuz my pc is old. I enjoyed the game and I'd love the chance to play it with high graphics.
Pretty hyped for new Silent Hill ngl. The only Bloober game I don't like is LoF2. So I think they'll do fine with SH.
