The mood of this album is spot on. Whereas I felt like Memorial was a really crushing, depressing, and lonely album, this one seems to be coming from a better place, filled with hope and a sense of lifting upwards.

Saw these guys open for Coheed some years back, great experience live, very atmospheric.

This album brings the chugs and the riffs.

Tracs like Calla and Afrika would't have been out of place on Empros. That's why I like this more than Memorial cos Memorial had none of that.

They have a new album coming out that is already floating around on the internet. They're still an excellent band. I guess people forgot about them since their last album was 4 years ago, but I don't know, they were always really good.

Their debut was beautiful. Their next 2 were just alright imo, good listens but a bit uneventful and cautious. still gonna check the new one of course
