From band practice, yes. Ears were doing alright after a day or two after Dino. Insane show though and definitely one of the louder ones I've seen

"ears still ringing?"
When I went to see them they were the loudest band I'd ever heard and still are. Concerts are too loud in general, and Dinosaur Jr. was even louder. I just want to be able to hear the instruments without blowing my ears out, is that too much to ask?

I saw them a few weeks ago. First time doing so.
Dude behind me insisted in giving me ear plugs and I kept going "Nah, man. It's ok. But thank you!"
First song started and I immediately turned around to ask for them. So. Loud.
But so good!
These songs are awesome live, as well. Tiny, Going Down and Knocked Around in particular.

Not sure if you guys will see this but search Downbeats on amazon. Theyre like 10 bucks and lower the volume without reducing sound quality like normal earplugs. HIGHLY recommend them.

I use Fender attenuating earplugs. Drop the high frequencies that cause damage without muddling sound.

This has definitely become one of my favourites of theirs. It's my second favourite post-reunion record after Farm, and probably my fourth overall.

So unmemorable. I swear I've heard every single verse/chorus/vocal melody/solo before on another Dinosaur Jr./J Mascis record. This, and the last two solo Mascis albums show that he's running on empty, such bland songwriting and it all just blur together. Maybe he just needs a break. At least they still sound great.
